Empowering Women
Therapy allows you to process through your internal dialogues that may have been patterned from previous experiences that continue to provide you with negative results. It allows you to increase your self-knowledge and freedom for self-exploration. Insight allows you to break free from old habits and patterns. You get to choose and make decisions towards developing new habits that propel you into a deeper way of living. Learn to set boundaries with yourself and others, so that you can give your best yes!
For young girls and teens, therapy can be a place for them to sort out their identity, external surroundings, and social pressures. It can be difficult to understand how to cope positively while you are growing up, attempting to understand your world and develop your self-identity. Therapy is effective to build relationships, improve coping skills, set life goals, increase mood stability, and develop self-talk that improves confidence.
Restore Wellness Counseling is a therapeutic place where women and girls can find a safe space to gain self-awareness, acceptance, and healing. Restore Wellness provides individual, family, and couples therapy. Taking that first step towards improving emotional regulation, and improved intentionality can demonstrate engaging in life fulfillment. It’s important to have someone that you believe will hold a place for you to feel empowered, validated, and understood. At Restore Wellness we approach life stressors with dignity, sensitivity, and holistically. Life stressors include sexual trauma, history of difficulty with relationships, growing up in a dysfunctional family setting, feeling stuck and unmotivated, life transitions including getting married or divorced, moving to a new city for a new job, occupational stress, parenting stressors, and many more.
Therapy is supposed to be your place of stillness away from your life where you can process and gain insight towards your patterns, gain meaning for your life, and make decisions that are aligned with who you believe you are as a person.

"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." –Maya Angelou
